I'm sure that you all know how hugely popular the Samsung Galaxy S II
is all over the world, but try to imagine how it would be if 10% of
your country's inhabitants own such a handset. Well, if you're a South
Korean, you don't have to imagine this, since it would represent
everyday reality. Indeed, in Samsung's home country, over 5 million S II
devices have been sold so far, and with 48.87 million inhabitants, the
percentage shows that more than 10.2% of South Koreans enjoy the
benefits of the flagship handset.
It's only normal for the smartphone to represent such a success over
there; the one million barrier was crossed in Korea in little over a
month after the S II was released. Worldwide, Samsung informed us that they sold 10 million units of this Android
monster back in September. Then, in October, we found out that 30
million Galaxy S and S II units had been sold across the globe. Boy, we
sure would want to know what those numbers could be today.
