Kim Dotcom vows Megaupload will return

Megaupload Relaunch
From accused cybercriminal to Internet freedom fighter in a matter of months, dot-com entrepreneur Kim Dotcom has become a poster child for the fight against the perceived tyranny brought on by copyright laws. Dotcom has been in the news continuously since he was arrested in January as part of a sting that saw his file-sharing site Megaupload shuttered and its contents closely guarded by authorities. According to Dotcom, however, Megaupload users will have the last laugh.
SOPA is dead. PIPA is dead. ACTA is dead. MEGA will return,” Dotcom wrote on Twitter. “Bigger. Better. Faster. Free of charge & shielded from attacks. Evolution!” Considering his post was retweeted nearly 10,000 times, it would appear that a number of people are anxious to see the cloud-based file-hosting and file-sharing service brought back online.
Dotcom recently scored a major victory when a New Zealand judge ruled that the raid on his mansion was illegal. He isn’t out of hot water just yet, however, and though he appears to be laughing it up as his legal team continues to fight to keep him out of jail, Dotcom still faces a number of serious charges.
