HTC One X starting to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

One X owners are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Jelly Bean and Sense 4+. Unfortunately, most of us are going to have to wait a little longer, but it looks like those in HTC’s homeland are the first to get a taste of the latest Android operating system. Reports are coming in via XDA-Developers that users in Taiwan should rush into their settings and check for a software update to install Jelly Bean.
Once you have checked in a download should be available and is around 350 MB large. So make sure you are on a Wi-Fi connection or you are going to be in range of a charger while you pull the file over your carrier’s connection. After the file has been downloaded and installed, your HTC One X should be on Android version 4.1.1 and Sense 4+.
The global version of the HTC One X has a different processor than the model in the United States so we are not sure how much closer we are to receiving Jelly Bean, but we at HTCSource are hopeful that the near future brings us some goodies.
As for the HTC One S and HTC Evo 4G LTE the source had nothing valuable to add about these devices, but we will do our best to keep readers in the know.
The HTC Sense user interface is a very sophisticated tool to interact with and with the level of quality of the interface we need to realize that it takes time for all the coders at HTC to get things working like they did in previous versions or better. It may not be a perfect interface, but from a personal perspective it is the best I have used to date.
